Having frequently worn the Air Max 95 OG “Neon”, amongst other iterations of the 95 line on his socials, it may not have come as a complete surprise that this was the chosen silhouette. On the other hand, the collaboration has revealed the owner’s affinity for the AM95, echoing previous editions such as the Air Max 95 “Monster” 2001 on the upper, and the Air Max 95 “Japan” SP 2013 for the inside lining.
The pair can be seen sporting a total of three different Corteiz logos, including the Alcatraz symbol on the tongue which replaces the icon Air Max logo. The shoes come packaged in an OG Nike orange box, similar to the Colour of the Month Air Force 1 release, although this time rocking the Corteiz signature spell out above the Swoosh. The upper is constructed of different shades of green, giving the shoe a military vibe that matches the guerrilla marketing tactics that have made the brand so sought after by people across the globe. On the heel of the left shoe reads "51.5713541", with the right bearing “0.0800916”, which are coordinates that point to Stamford Hill in North London.
